Outline of Research at the Start

空間経済学の分析道具を用いて厳密な理論分析と実証分析を行い、観光客の増大が地域経済に及ぼす影響を明らかにする。観光客と地域住民の選好が異なることと、観光客の消費支出の多くが非交易サービスであることに注目し、従来試みられることのなかった観光独自の分析枠組みを作る。その際、観光客の増大の影響のうち、生産される財やサービスの内容が変化すること、都市構造が変化すること、観光客増大の弊害を取り除くために導入される政策が新たな歪みをもたらすこと、の三点を重点的に解き明かす。
