本研究は、インドの民間ニュースメディアに対する国家権力の経済的・社会的圧力が、忖度や自己検閲といった報道上のバイアスを引き起こすメカニズムを実証的に明らかにするものである。自然実験とテキスト分析を組み合わせ、報道内容の変化を定量化することで、民主主義体制下におけるメディア統制の新たな実証的知見を提供する。
