Outline of Research at the Start

地域おこし協力隊は、地方創生の一環として日本政府が2009年に導入した制度で、都市部から地方へ人材を派遣し、地域の活性化や課題解決を図ることを目的としている。地方創生政策に関する学術的課題の一つは、評価方法が確立されていないことである。政策の影響は地域ごとに異なり、定量的な成果の測定が困難なほか、短期的な成果が強調される一方で、長期的影響の評価が不十分である。また、政策介入は内生的に行われることも予想され、因果関係を識別する必要がある。さらに、量的研究と質的研究の統合が難しく、本研究は主観的な経験を定量評価に反映させる方法を構築する。
