Outline of Research at the Start	フルスペックの経済モデルを想定して反実仮想を考えるシミュレーション法とは異なり、モデルの特定化に依存せずに、需要の価格弾力性などの幾つかの「十分統計量」によって余剰の変化を捉えようとする手法は、シミュレーション法を簡略化したものとは考えられるが、未だに両者の関係はクリアーにされていない。それを踏まえ、垂直的合併評価を始めとする競争政策・公共政策の文脈における経済分析の内容を充実させるための方法論である十分統計量アプローチは、実証への接続も踏まえた上で、どこまで進展させることができるのかという点を、多様な視点・手法を駆使しながら解明していく。
