Outline of Research at the Start

Specifically, this research explores the following issues:
1. Whether consumers priced in climate change impacts leading to a significant price differential in flood-prone locations compared with non-flood-prone locations;
2. Whether prices reflect a temporal trend, that is, with each subsequent flooding episodes, how do prices respond to a continuous environmental risk; and
3. Applying a difference-in-difference (DID) model to extract the impact of climate change (flooding, rising sea levels) and supplementing with machine learning models.
