Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では、湊町の廻船問屋が所有した『客船帳』を基にする船舶動静データ（船舶の寄港情報）を用いて、船舶の技術革新が海運ネットワークや貿易構造の変化とその過程、交易の拡大・縮小による都市の成長・衰退など、国・地域・都市に与えた影響などを計量経済学的手法により詳細に議論する。
