Outline of Research at the Start

ネット通販の拡大で取扱個数の増加している宅配便の長距離輸送は, 主として大型トラックが担っているが, トラックドライバー不足，CO2排出削減に対応すべく, 他の輸送手段への転換（モーダルシフト）が求められている。本研究では大型トラックの代替輸送手段として活用され始めたJR貨物・フェリー, 将来的に導入が期待できるダブル連結トラック・航空貨物専用機・高速道路自動運転トラックの労働生産性・CO2排出量を推計するモデルを構築する。その上で，それら代替輸送手段への転換に影響を及ぼす市場環境条件・技術開発条件を検討し, 有効と思われるモーダルシフト政策を提言することを目指す。
