Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、多店舗展開を行うチェーンストア企業を対象とし、天候の変化、異常気象、自然災害という不確実性が小売店舗でのマネジャー層の対応活動、本部から店舗への権限移譲、組織内のコミュニケーション、店舗の長期間の収益性にいかなる影響を与えるかを明らかにする。不確実性の高まりと集権的意思決定との理論的な関係に焦点を当て、店舗マネジャーの管理スタイルや知覚リスクが調整することを検証する。店舗のマネジャー層への質問紙調査、店舗の販売データ、さらに地域コードベースの気象データと災害データとを統合し、計量経済学的手法により実証的に明らかにする。
