Outline of Research at the Start |
Prominent multinational Japanese companies such as Toyota, Fujitsu, Hitachi, and NEC are investing heavily in AI technology. As sustainability issues grow in importance, it is crucial to understand how companies' AI transparency affects sustainability performance. Our study employs empirical and qualitative case study analysis that develops a measure of AI transparency in Japanese firms, examines its effects on sustainability performance, or investigates AI technology integration into multinational corporations' and startups' business models concerning sustainability.
