Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、従来の多文化主義の限界を乗り越える思想的転回として提案されている多自然／多現実主義にもとづく理論的枠組を構築し、それをもとにオーストラリアにおける移民・多文化主義政策における気候移民問題の影響、および反多文化主義・移民排斥言説と気候変動否定・懐疑論言説の連関について実証的に調査し、そこから多自然／多現実主義概念のさらなる理論的精緻化を行う。研究成果を学会報告や投稿論文として発表し、国内外の研究者を招聘した国際ワークショップを開催して研究ネットワークを構築する。そして本研究全体の知見を総括した単著を執筆し、気候変動と人新世という時代背景に対応した社会学的多文化主義研究の刷新を試みる。
