Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、近世都市飛騨高山の人口と家族構造を解明することを最終目的とする。本研究は歴史人口学と家族社会学の学際的領域に位置付けられる。史料には、残存期間が99年（1773年～1871年）に及ぶ、欠年のない総人口8000人規模の「飛騨国高山弐之町村宗門人別改帳」を用いる。この史料から研究の土台部分である基礎シート（Basic Data Sheet）の残り3年分(96年分は完成済）を完成させ、すでに着手しているデータベースの構築作業を継続しておこなうと共に、完成したデータの一部を用いて人口指標と家族構造の分析をおこなう。歴史人口学と家族社会学の学際的研究に新たな研究領域を創造することを目指す。
