Outline of Research at the Start

医療者も病気になることがあるが、医療者の「病い経験」については十分な関心が向けられてこなかった。その背景には、病気になるのは患者であり、医療者は病気を治療する存在であるという二項対立的見方に加え、医療者は病気にならないという社会的期待があった。こうした認識は、医療者の受診の遅れや病気プレゼンティズム、病気になった医療者を否定的に捉える風潮等につながっている。しかし、自分が患者になるという経験は、病気への理解を深め、より患者に寄り添った医療を可能にするという側面を有する。本研究は看護師と医師への聞き取り調査に基づき、医療者の病い経験を、物語論的視点から明らかにすることを目的とする。
