Outline of Research at the Start

中国では、1979年の改革開放以降、流動化が進み、農村の若者は教育や結婚を機に小都市（県城）へ移住するようになった。その結果、村では過疎・高齢化の問題が顕在化している。しかし、若者の小都市への移住が必ずしも農村コミュニティの衰退を招いているわけではない。この要因はどこにあるのか。本研究では、人口減少・都市化・流動化が進むなかで、農村の村人がどのようにSNS（TikTok、WeChat）を活用し、小都市に移住した若者を巻き込みながら新たな公共空間やコミュニティを形成しているのかを、修正拡大集落論の方法論を用いて現地調査を通じて実証的に明らかにする。
