Outline of Research at the Start

「国際移民による国民国家への挑戦」論争が定式化した国民国家の変容は、新たな探究を必要としている。移民受け入れ諸国は言語・文化・宗教的に多様な移民の定住する「超多様性」(super-diversity) の様相を示している。その過程で、極右ポピュリズムによる移民排斥の動きやイスラム主義集団によるテロリズムなど移民をめぐる問題が多発し、高技能労働者など「有用な移民」と庇護希望者など「有用でない移民」の間で格差が増大し、帰化者や重国籍者の増大や国籍の剥奪など「国民の市民権」も問題化している。そこで国民国家の変容を捉えるため、「分極的社会変容」や「市民権再編」という新たな視角から国際比較研究を行う。
