Outline of Research at the Start

人口減少時代にあって、U・Iターンの若者が各地方にまんべんなく暮らしていけるにはいったい何が必要か。そこで本研究では、岐阜県郡上市八幡町を事例にしながら、移住してきた若者の定住を可能にするコミュニティとはいったいどのようなものなのか、を明らかにする。ここで重要なのは、人口減少時代に即応したコミュニティ概念である。ポスト近代に生まれ落ちた若者が志向するのは、人間関係が緊密なコミュニティよりも、メンバーシップがあいまいで、必要なときに行けば誰かがいるくらいの、ゆるい人間関係からなる「フォーラム型コミュニティ」のほうである。このようなコミュニティこそ、各地方に若者を繋ぎ止める可能性を秘めている。
