Outline of Research at the Start

地域おこし協力隊員にとって定住の最大のハードルが「起業」「就業」である。新規就農をはじめ、さまざまな業態の起業家を育成し人材を活用する「ローカルベンチャースクール」の支援制度を導入することで任期終了後の隊員の定住のハードルを下げると同時に、結果として高い定住率を発揮している厚真町を対象に、本研究では、任期終了後の地域おこし協力隊員の定着が地域社会にいかなるインパクトを与え、地域社会がいかに変容したかを明らかにする。とくに、任期終了後の隊員が有する職業的技術や経験等が当該地域に何をもたらしたかに焦点を当て、隊員定着によって生じた地域社会の質的変化を明らかにする実証研究を行う。
