Outline of Research at the Start

2023年末現在、在日フィリピン人約32万人のうち女性が7割で、特に50代の女性が最多（約5.7万人）である。今後、彼女らの高齢化に伴い、結婚移民の独居や困窮の課題は急拡大することが見込まれる。本研究では、結婚移民であるフィリピン人母の看病、介護、看取り等を経験した子どもたち（第二世代）20人への聞き取りを中心に、その家族・親族、医療福祉および介護関係者、宗教関係者、両国政府および地方自治体関係者等への聞き取りから、結婚移民の高齢期と終末期の課題を探索的に明らかにする。その上で国際ワークショップ開催や多言語の「終活ノート」等を作成し、成果を発信したい。
