Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は人口減少の続く日本のムラやマチ（近世以来続く伝統的な都市の町場）における祭礼や民俗芸能に焦点を当てる。それらの後継者が不足する中で、他出者・移住者、他出者の子世代に加え、地縁も血縁もない愛好家やアーティストといった関係人口が中心的な担い手や指導者として関与し、継承されている事例が増加し、その担いのしくみが変容しつつある。既存の住民、他出者、孫ターン、Iターン、自治体の文化財課、地縁・血縁を持たない流動的な人々の担い手ネットワークの交錯の中で、地域の共同性を再生産する祭礼・民俗芸能はいかに再編成され、ひいてはムラ・マチの共同性に影響を与えうるのか明らかにすることが、本研究の目的である。
