Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では，近年のポピュリズム研究や「市民圏論」に通底する社会学理論の学説史的源流に遡り，近代日本社会学の社会思想的基盤から世紀転換期の群集／大衆社会論や市民社会論，そして20世紀前葉の社会運動・革命論へと至る系譜を辿り，そこに底流する集合行動に対する知識人階級の時代認識と危機意識，ならびに社会統制と秩序維持に志向する学問的イデオロギー性とエリート主義の影響について知識社会学的に討究する．従来の民衆騒擾に関する社会学的研究に対し，本研究では歴史的特殊性や時代背景，社会的現実にみる「社会学者」の時代意識や歴史認識のあり方に重点を置いて追究する．
