Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は，外国人住民に対する意識に影響を与えている要因について，これまでとは異なった視点を提示する。
都市社会学の観点から，受け入れ国住民の地域コミュニティへの意識や関わりが，外国人住民に対する意識に影響を与えるという「地域コミュニティ仮説」を構築し，その仮説を日本全国およびアメリカ全国で登録モニター型インターネット法を用いて調査を行い検証する。日米の調査結果を比較，「地域コミュニティ仮説」の有効性を検討し，外国人住民に対する意識研究に新たな仮説として付与し得る可能性を示す。
