Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、社会運動行為を詳細に記述し比較分析していく。既存の運動研究は、運動組織による戦略的な動員過程等に焦点が当てられ、運動行為はレパートリーとして扱われるのみで、その具体的展開にはほとんど注意が向けられてこなかった。政治学、政治地理学、文化人類学、歴史学でも同様である。それゆえ本研究は、運動研究のパラダイムを変え、運動行為論という新しい学問分野を創出する試みとして位置付けられる。とくにWebGIS・ビッグデータを用いた分析において社会学分野をけん引するものとなりえ、諸学問で散発的に進む運動行為研究を、社会学を中心にして再統合・発展させる可能性を有している。
