Outline of Research at the Start

訪問介護は、施設における介護とは異なり「在宅」で行われる点に特徴がある。ヘルパーは、複数の在宅空間を定期的に訪問し、それぞれ異なる症状を持つ利用者と調理、洗濯、掃除などの生活支援作業を長期にわたって構築する。本研究の目標は、認知症高齢者を対象とする訪問介護においてヘルパーと利用者とが在宅空間の中でいつどのように身体を動かして作業を達成しうるのかを、観察・分析によって明らかにすることである。この目標を達成するために、実際の訪問介護の現場を撮影し、ヘルパー・利用者の身体配置の変化をマイクロ秒単位で記述・分析し、分析結果を当事者であるヘルパーたちと検討し、現場で実践的に使うことのできる知を引き出す。
