Outline of Research at the Start

知的障害児は、意思の読み取りの困難さ、健康管理や経済的事情、環境的制限から、本人による意思決定に家族や支援者が抱える葛藤は多く、家庭・学校・福祉で少なからず取り組まれているが、卒業後の意思決定に制約があることが喫緊の課題となっている。本研究の目的は、特別支援学校を中核に教員とSSWの協働に加え、家庭・学校・福祉の連携による知的障害児への体系的な「意思決定能力育成プログラム」の開発である。本研究の成果は、特別支援学校における教育活動、さらに卒業後を含めた意思決定支援の質向上に資することが期待される。
