Outline of Research at the Start	我が国における障害者の高齢化とその数の増加は、地域在宅・施設における介護ケアの必需性を一層高めている。特に口腔ケアは、生活習慣病の予防・改善や災害関連死のリスク低減効果が報告されている。しかし、介護者の多くは障害者の特性に応じた口腔観察の方法や口腔清掃技術に不安を抱え、障害者の特性を理解した口腔ケアの実施が困難な現状がある。そこで、本研究では、口腔観察の視点を示すことで、障害者入所施設職員が口腔観察力を向上させ、口腔清掃をアセスメントできる簡便で継続的な活用が可能なツールを施設職員とともにアクションリサーチにより開発する。
