Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、脳波によってコンピュータ機器の操作を可能とするブレイン・マシン・インターフェース(BMI: Brain Machine Interface)を、身体障がい者(特に筋ジストロフィーや筋萎縮性側索硬化症の患者)が利用することに関する社会的・倫理的課題を把握し、BMIを用いる身体障がい者のADL(Activity of Daily Living)やQOL(Quality of Life)の向上に資することを目的とする。
