Outline of Research at the Start	高齢者介護の現場では外国人介護労働者の受け入れが進んでいる。しかし、在留資格によって日本語および介護福祉全般の教育レベルはさまざまで、受け入れた高齢者福祉施設にその教育・研修のみならず生活支援まで委ねているのが日本の大きな特徴である。一方、認知症ケアを考えれば、高齢者とのコミュニケーションを基盤にさまざまなニーズを理解する高い専門性をもった職員の養成が喫緊の課題である。本研究は、介護労働者の定住化が現実のものとなる現在、語学教育や生活支援など基盤となる統合政策について検討し、その上で認知症ケア教育の標準モデルを提示し、外国人介護労働者が十分な認知症ケアを行える教育・研修システムを探求する。
