Outline of Research at the Start	申請者は」「インド人によるインドの介護の確立」を研究テーマに2012年から取り組んでいる。本研究もその一環である。１２年前のインドは「介護」という概念がなかったが、高齢化を迎え、現在は介護の専門性が求められている。しかし」日本のように介護保険や社会保障が整備されているわけではない。インドは経済的成長から海外への出稼ぎ、共稼ぎ、女性の社会進出への推奨から生活の在り方が変わりつつある。「介護高齢者サービス」を利用しているのは富裕層に限っている。本研究は、経済的成長に伴う家族介護の在り方に注目しアンケート・インタビューにて在宅介護がもつ問題点、課題の相関関係を明らかにして支援対策を社会に発信する。
