Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では、手で布地に触れた際に、変調した摩擦音を聴覚へフィードバックすることによって布地の触感は変化するのか、変化するのであれば、どのような条件において、どのように触感が変化するのかを明らかにする。さらに、触感の伝達への応用のため、手で布地に触れている様子を記録した映像と摩擦音のみを提示することによって、布地に触れることなく布地の触感を判断できるのかについて調査する。本研究により触感を強調・変調させる条件や、触感の判断における映像・摩擦音提示の有効性が明らかになれば、遠隔での繊維製品の触感伝達に大きく貢献する可能性を秘めており、わが国の喫緊の課題であるＤＸの推進にも寄与するものと予想される。
