Outline of Research at the Start

高齢期においても、美容やファッションを楽しむことが健康・主観的幸福の向上に寄与する可能性が示唆されているが、その具体的なエビデンスやメカニズムは十分に解明されていない。
本研究は、美容意識や行動に関するベースライン調査結果を踏まえて、追跡調査を通じて量的データを収集・分析するとともに、インタビューによる質的調査を行い、量的研究と質的研究を併用する方法でその関連性とメカニズムを探索する。
研究成果は、地域在住高齢者の美容に対するポジティブなイメージを醸成し、美容やファッションを楽しめる地域社会の形成を推進することで、地域における高齢者のWell-beingな生活の継続に貢献する。
