Outline of Research at the Start

乳児の熱中症・低体温症や乳幼児突然死症候群は，温熱環境6要素が一因で生じる．しかし，乳児を被験者に用いた温熱実験は，倫理上，難しいため，乳児に適した温熱環境設定は客観的に論じられていない．そこで，本研究では，乳児の安全な温熱環境規準の整備に貢献すべく，乳児の代替となる乳児型サーマルマネキンを活用し，乳児ケア者による選択環境と選択衣服が乳児へ掛かる暑熱/寒冷ストレスを定量的に評価する．具体的に，本研究では，乳児が置かれた環境下で着用している衣服の熱抵抗と，乳児が置かれた環境で体熱平衡を維持するのに適正な衣服の熱抵抗を，実験と調査から得て，温熱的負荷量である暑熱/寒冷ストレスを定量評価する．
