Outline of Research at the Start	「奉安殿」は、従来の教育学・歴史学研究では天皇制教育の象徴という一面的な評価がなされ、戦後はGHQの指令により「撤去」されたと論じられてきた。だが、現存している例が多数ある。申請者は奉安殿の建設が文部省の指示ではなく、各学校・地域が自主的・主体的に建設を推進した経緯に着目する。本研究では現存する奉安殿を調査し、その「扱い方」（建設・維持・残され方〉の分析を通して学校関係者・地域住民・企業の具体的な連携構造を明らかにし、天皇制教育とは別位相で展開した近現代日本の教育的営為の特質を戦前・戦後の連続性の中で解明する。
