Outline of Research at the Start

問題意識としては、社会への適応だけをめざすのではなく、社会に積極的に参加し、必要ならば社会社会に働きかけるような識字・日本語教室の在り方を追求することである。本研究では、大阪府内にある約200の識字・日本語教室に学ぶ約2,000人の学習者を対象として質問紙調査を実施する。調査結果を踏まえて、訪問調査や聞き取り調査も計画している。国内の調査結果をまとめ、韓国やアメリカを訪問し、質問紙調査から得られた問題意識について比較検討する。本調査研究と、すでに行ったボランティア意識調査とを組み合わせることによって、教室の在り方や識字・日本語学習の在り方に問題提起することが可能となる。
