Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、中央集権的な教育行政の転換のため教育現場の支援者として再出発を図る戦後教育改革期の文部省が、児童中心の子ども観に基づく教育の主体者として、同じく新たな道を歩むことになった教育現場と共に、いかにして民主的な教育を展開しようとしたのか、文部省文書や職員のメモ、教育雑誌記事、教員の言説等を用い、両者の関わりや影響、あるいは情報の交換といった相互性を視座に検討し、この時期の教育に関する新たな見方を提示する試みである。なお、対象期間は占領期から「教育委員会法」廃止(1956)前までとする。
