Outline of Research at the Start

東アジア諸国・地域では、高等教育システムがすでに一定の規模に達する一方、少子化傾向をはじめとする社会変化の影響を受けてその変容が求められている。本研究の目的は、東アジア諸国・地域（中国、台湾、韓国、日本）において、少子化傾向を中心とする社会変化が高等教育システムの構造変容にどのような影響をもたらすのかを比較的に検討することである。①各国における高等教育システムの形成と発展の過程を明らかにするとともに、②近年の高等教育政策において、少子化傾向を中心とする社会変化に対する認識が高等教育システムに与える影響について分析し、あわせて③機関レベルでの発展戦略のあり方や課題を明らかにする。
