Outline of Research at the Start

学校図書館は、図書館情報学のみならず、教育学における研究対象でもある。しかしながら、わが国における教育学研究において学校図書館は等閑視されがちであった。このような現状に鑑み、図書館情報学を専門とする研究者らによって共同研究を実施しながら、教育学の視点も組み入れる。教育学研究者からの知見の提供、共有及び意見交換のための研究会を実施する。1950年代から1960年代の日本の教育課程と学校図書館との関係を中心に明らかにする。学校図書館の制度及び組織論的領域、教育課程、教育メディア、アメリカの教育思想を含めた思想的基盤及び学習論などについて検討する。
