Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は近代沖縄の固有性に即し学齢児童の貧困施策に関する歴史分析を新機軸に基づき従来にない水準に進化させる。研究目的は学齢児童の貧困がとくに先鋭化していた沖縄において、1920年代から沖縄戦までに対象時期を限定のうえ、関連する施策がどのように実施されたのかについて解明することである。研究方法として貧困状態にある学齢児童の不就学、および健康を分析視点として設定し、つぎの新機軸を打ち出す。関連施策が学事と社会事業で分掌されるとともに、教育会と師範学校をふくめ、官民を交えた多系統により実施・運営された過程を総体として分析する。
