Outline of Research at the Start

1990年代以降、ペスタロッチ（Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi, 1746~1827）を教育思想史上の重要人物として「崇拝」し「偶像化」するような従来のペスタロッチ研究に対し、それらに対する批判を基調とした「脱神話化」と呼ばれるペスタロッチ研究のパラダイム転換が生じた。ケンブリッジ学派の政治思想史研究の影響を受けたトレーラー（Troehler,D. 2006）は、ペスタロッチの教育思想を古典的共和主義の文脈から再構成している。近年、啓蒙思想の捉え直しが進んでいることから、本研究では、ペスタロッチ教育思想の形成過程をスイス啓蒙主義のコンテクストに位置付けて検討する。
