Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、1990年代以降の不登校（長期欠席）現象に着目し、後期近代における教育を通じた排除と包摂のメカニズムを批判的に読み解くことを目指している。今日の市場化した教育においては親の教育責任と教育投資の増大がおこっているが、それらは、学校との関係が希薄化した不登校の子どもたちについては家族のケア役割と経済的負担の増大という形でおこっている。不登校における家族の役割は、後期近代の遍在する社会的排除のメカニズムを明らかにするうえでも重要な検討対象であり、不登校現象に現れる家族主義を理論的、実証的に検討することが本研究の主たる目的である。
