Outline of Research at the Start

成人の「学び直し」に対し雇用形態・性別・年代別セグメント別の学習実態とその分布・偏在を明らかにし、学習弱者に位置付けられる対象を特定、「学び直し」をめぐる社会的包摂に向けた行政や社会の支援の方向性を検討する。そのため、第一に「学習成熟度セグメント調査」により、属性ごとの学習実態、特徴やそのニーズを明らかにする。第二に日本と米国の高等教育機関、社会教育施設やNPOの事例調査に基づき、地域における社会包摂的な「学び直し」の学習機会について知見を得る。その上で、第三に我が国における多様な成人学習機会の提供について、学習を介した社会経済的地位の格差是正のための個別化した最適な支援の方向性を示唆する。
