Outline of Research at the Start

自閉スペクトラム症（Autism spectrum disorder: ASD）はしばしば睡眠障害を併発する。特に、幼少期における睡眠の問題は発達異常につながり、脳機能構造の異常と関連している可能性が指摘されている。しかしながら、ASD児は特性の問題から脳MRI撮像が容易ではなく、児童期のASDにおいて脳MRIを用いて睡眠の問題を検証した報告はこれまでのところない。そこで本研究では、国内初の小児脳MRI共同研究プロジェクトにおける、多施設大規模脳MRIデータを用い、児童期のASDにおける睡眠の問題と脳MRIとの関連を初めて明らかにすることを目的とする。
