Outline of Research at the Start

知覚的に聴覚に依存する乳児にとって、音声の持つ様々な特徴が強力な社会的報酬として働き、発達に大きく影響する。本研究では、乳児への語りかけ音声における情動性（どのような情動や感情を伝えているか）に特に着目し、乳児期の言語学習における情動性の役割を実証的に検討する。そのために、情動性とともに話者性（誰の声か）や随伴応答性（応答のタイミングの良さ）といった音声要素を効果的に統制した乳児実験を行い、各要素が知覚や学習の成立に与える影響を詳細に検討し、特定の要素の持つ機能や組み合わせによる学習促進効果を明らかにする。
