Outline of Research at the Start

現代の子育て環境は危機的状況にあり、妊娠期から切れ目のない子育て支援が提言されている。0歳児を育てる母親を対象にした「親子の絆づくりプログラム」 (Baby Program：BP)は、生涯学習理論と人格発達論に基づいて母親を支援する参加者中心型プログラムであり、全国の自治体を中心に実施されている。本研究では全国のBP参加者約8,000人を対象に評価尺度を使った質問紙法を用いて、BPの効果を明らかにするとともに、子育て現場のニーズを探索する。この研究により、BPの科学的根拠が構築できるとともに、子育てしやすい社会の形成、子ども虐待の予防、子どもを産みたい日本社会の実現につながる基礎データになる。
