Outline of Research at the Start	2019年末から始まった新型コロナウイルス感染症（COVID-19）の流行において、軽微な疾患の子どもを対象とする「病児保育」の利用者数が激減した。本研究では、全国の市区町村すべてを対象としたアンケート、情報公開請求および公的資料の入手を通して、コロナ禍を契機とした「病児保育」の利用環境の変化を調査する。そして、「病児保育」施設における利用者数を、保育側（保育定員やアクセス距離）、利用側（乳幼児人口、感染症発生動向や在宅勤務率）およびその他（地域性や市区町村の人口規模など）の要因により説明する数理モデルの構築を図る。
