Outline of Research at the Start

近年、子どもの運動能力の低下が問題視される中、「子どもロコモ」の概念が注目されている。従来の研究では、筋力や柔軟性といった身体機能評価が中心であったが、本研究では、姿勢制御、関節間協調性、身体認知、環境適応という新たな4つの要素を導入し、子どもロコモの特性をより包括的な視点から明らかにする。具体的には、幼児期後期から学童期前期を対象に、最新のテクノロジーを駆使した測定評価を行い、4つの評価項目と子どもロコモの関連性を明らかにする。そして、各評価項目における年齢段階に合わせたベースラインを提示することで、子どもロコモの早期発見・予防のための新たなスクリーニング方法の確立を目指す。
