Outline of Research at the Start

我が国では、幼児が十分に体を動かす広さに関する根拠が曖昧である。そこで本研究では、保育環境が幼児の身体活動に与える影響を明らかにすることを目的とし、従来の面積だけでなく体積という視点から、幼児の身体活動における園庭の小山を登るといった上下の動きを加味して幼児に必要な空間について検討する。その際、保育環境と身体活動の関連性について保育環境の様々な要素（園庭の広さ、遊具の種類、保育室の構成など）が、幼児の身体活動量や運動強度、動きの多様さとどのように関連しているかを、幼児の遊び状況の自動収集分析システムを構築し、幼児が中強度以上の身体活動を60分以上継続的に確保するための保育環境について検討する。
