Outline of Research at the Start

幼児期の環境教育において、バイオフィリアを活性化させることは重要な目的の一つであり、園における直接的・間接的な自然体験の充実はその一助になると考えられる。
本研究では、特に保育室内における自然とのかかわりに注目し、保育室内の環境をバイオフィリックデザインの視点から捉え直すことで、直接的・間接的自然体験へと活用できる自然要素や生き物に焦点を当てた環境教育実践及びそれに適した保育室の環境構成について明らかにする。そして同時に、保育者自身がこれらを学ぶための教育実践プログラムの開発に取り組むことで、「生き物を介したバイオフィリックデザイン型環境教育実践モデル」の構築を図るものである。
