Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、日本の新学習指導要領に基づき、数学教育における一貫性と発展を目指すものである。新学習指導要領では、全学年において数学的活動の強調および統合・発展が求められているが、数を中心とした演算の意味の拡張指導において、現行の指導法には具体的な問題が存在する。例えば、中学校数学においては、無理数の演算指導において小学校算数との統合的アプローチが不十分であり、高校数学においては、具体的な指導例や演算の意味の拡張が不十分である。これに対し、本研究は、具体的操作と記号的操作の一貫した指導法およびカリキュラムの再構築を目的とし、各教育段階における演算の拡張方法や一貫性を検討する。
