Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は，日本語（自然言語体系）と数学言語（数字や「＝」など数学に固有な記号表現を用いて展開される言語体系）の構造差が文章題読解にもたらす困難性を理論的・実証的に明らかにし，その困難性を克服する方向性を提示することである。これまでは，言語能力と文章題解決能力の強い相関関係に着目して，日本語と数学言語の構造差が両言語の読解力の違いに結びついており，その違いこそが文章題を読解する際の多様な解釈や困難性を生じさせていることを明らかにしてきた。本研究では，より多くの事例の収集や，アイトラッカーによる視線計測を行い，上記研究を発展させることを目指す。
