Outline of Research at the Start

地震は地球の構造と活動に関わる自然現象であり，かつ人間社会にとってインパクトの大きい災害要因である。したがって、地震とそれに伴う震災は、子どもたちが人と地球環境とのつながりを学ぶ上で、主体性を持って学ぶのに適したテーマである。また科学的な視点で地震あるいはそれに伴う環境変化を学ぶことは、合理的な防災行動や震災後の冷静な判断にもつながると考えられる。そこで本研究では，自然現象としての地震とそれに伴う地形や環境の変化，そしてその後の生態系の復元を調査し，その情報に基づいて生態系のレジリエンスを深く理解させる教育プログラムの開発と検証を行う。
