Outline of Research at the Start

2022年度から高校生は必ず地理総合で防災について学ぶことになった。しかし、地理総合を担当する地理歴史科の教員の中には、歴史が専門の教員が多く、必ずしも防災に関する自然科学的な知見を持ち合わせているわけではなく、高校生へ防災に関する十分な学習を行わせられているとは言い切れない。そこで、本研究では、歴史上の災害に関わるテーマを研究してきた代表者らがこれまでの研究成果を踏まえて、自然科学的な知見も学べるような教材の開発を行う。これにより、歴史が専門の教員でも扱いやすい上に自然科学的な知見も学べるような防災学習の授業を提供できるようにする。
